9th of May 2006 – Inauguration of the exhibition CAROL I
Upon the inauguration of the exhibition „Carol I. and the Romanian Army 1866-1914” in the lobby of the National Military Museum, members of our group, dressed in uniforms of the 6th Dorobantzes Regiment „Michael the Brave” of 1877, have presented arms to the guests of honour, their Royal Majesties King Michael I. of Romania and Queen Anne, as well as to their Royal Highnesses Princess Margaret and Prince Radu. By way of a handwritten letter, King Michael I. congratulated our Colonel and expressed his satisfaction with the ceremony. On the same occasion we organized the first public appearance of the reenactors of the „4th Artillery Regiment King Ferdinand I.”, our comrades, militaria collectors and military history fans from Ploiesti.
