I am not a reenactor, my guess is based on comparison with the I've seen in photos, ask one of the reenactors here to measure the buckle and you'll know for sure. Regards!

I spend a restoration of leather gear Romanian army, found on battle positions, currently doing leather leggings - but there's one problem - I do not know how to look at them buckle (shape, size). Ricardo, sorry I had no time to reply before.
The Romanian leather leggins were not rectangular, as shown in some drawings, they were cone-shaped, with their longer sides rounded, in order to follow the shape of the leg. The contour of the lower side, that is shorter, had also one or two additional , ~10cm long, concave parts, meant to follow the shape of the front of the boot, where the shoelaces were, and the back of the boot, above the heel. Not all were sewn, some had rivets.
The distance between the corners that are farther away from each other is ~36cm, the shorter distance is ~32cm, while the width is ~15cm.
The metal buckles were rounded rectangles, 2,5cm wide and 2cm long.
