Casca m34/m39 olandeza

Pai da, asa cum am scris si in primul post, ele s-au folosit (dupa o perioada de absenta) si in anii '70, pina la intrarea celor model '73.
Insa m-ai facut sa salivez, una rosie inca nu am. Daca poti face rost de undeva anunta-ma.  ;)

So far, I haven't seen a brass buckle for the chin strap. Not even at the officer's helmet presented above (the one with the cypher).

It's hard to say for sure. It seems identical to the ones from the regular chinstrap. My guess is that it might be a rarity, made by few or only one maker....

I am interested to find an answer to this question. I talked to a collector specializing in helmets Dutch production - he also recognizes that it is rather a rare exception to the rule. He also noted that in his collection is a Dutch merchant navy helmet liner system which is attached by brass rivets - Information about this fact is not found, and yet there is this helmet ....
The Romanian Navy used helmets M34-39, if so whether they had any, or the differences? You wrote on the helmet for officers, but I do not understand Romanian - you could give this information in English? You can also give information about the Romanian helmets you outlined at the beginning of English? With thanks, Ricardo.

Well, as far as I know, the Romanian Navy had m15 Adrian helmets in use, but I might just as well be wrong. Perhaps some other, more documented fellows of this forum can help.

Tocmai mi-am achizitionat o noua casca olandeza de la EM si m-am hotarat sa va povestesc despre ceea ce am gasit in aceasta casca. Pe langa interiorul original de piele neagra, am mai observat urmatoarele detalii zgariate de catre militarul care a folosit-o in zona cefei.

Sunt sigur ca este vorba de luna mai :D AM spalat-o acum si arata mault mai bine, dar are in continuare un miros neplacut, desi pielea a fost ingrijita cucrema Doina. Va trebui sa-i dau o noua vopsea, cel putin pe exterior deoarece se vede culoarea otelului.

947 o fi anul 1947? Ar fi foarte intersant de identificat acest serg. Cioroiu din Braila (sau urmasi) desi daca a fost contingent 1947 sansele sa mai fie in viata nu sunt foarte mari...
